About Me
Hello everyone! My name is Phuong Nguyen and I am a queer woman who was born and raised in the always sunny California. I grew up in a small town, by California’s standards. There, I spent my time immersing myself in fantasy and sci-fi worlds, watching anime with my sister, and playing video games with my brother. In addition to writing queer stories I spend my time hiking, or playing with my American Akita, Natsumi. I like crunchy granola folk, national parks, and all things nerd.
My greatest goal as a writer is to make you all feel like you’re not alone. Being queer is a hard and many times an isolating experience. I hope that my writing can celebrate queer joy, while examining the situations that make it difficult.
